30 Posts in 30 Days
We are doing it, folks. The content team was pissed that I haven't posted in a while. So, here is the start of 30 days of straight blog content. Saddle up and get ready, I have a lot on my mind.
I subscribe to the Gary Vaynerchuk texting service. He will occasionally send out a motivational text or just some information on some stuff he is promoting. To be completely honest, I rarely read them. But yesterday he sent one that just hit differently.
“Tomorrow is going to be one of the best days… that’s it… life is how you see it…”
I have been in a pretty good mood for most of the pandemic. I was pushing myself through either learning new things or pushing myself physically so I could complete my marathon. In short, I kept myself busy. I was progressing.
I recently moved back to my house in LA after spending a couple of months with my parents in San Diego. Since I have been back, I haven’t been able to find my groove and get back into improving my skillset.
Couple the pandemic with complacency and massive burnout from having the responsibilities of three people combined into one job, it makes for a tough mental health week. Over the past 7 days, I have played more Xbox than I ever have in my life and have contributed absolutely nothing to society.
Upon reading that text yesterday, I decided it was time to get back on the horse. If you’re not growing, you are dying.
It’s been an interesting couple of months. I have a lot of things I look forward to sharing.
I have spent a stupid amount of time inside of Google and Facebook ads. I’ll share some takeaways from those platforms. I have been learning a lot about creating good habits and improving the overall quality of life. Working in the live event space, a lot has changed, and there are some exciting aspects of virtual events that might be the way of the future. I am still testing physical boundaries, so I will be writing about that. Of course, I am still DJing. It hasn’t quite been the renaissance we expected out of the music industry just yet, but there have still been some good new music drops. Maybe, just maybe, I’ll even write about what it’s been like to date in LA.
I’m excited. This will force me to get out of my comfort zone and continue to push myself forward. The only easy day was yesterday — day 1 in the books. See you tomorrow!
