I’m going to be honest, apart from a few big hitters, not a super busy New Music Friday. I’m gonna dive right into the new tracks and then there are going to be more tracks that I am currently listening to.

“That New New”

Back in the Day by Mac Miller — The Mac Miller team released two more tracks posthumously, Back in the Day and Ayye. They released the tracks on his K.I.D.S album. The song has a feel like you are skating down the street on a nice sunny day. A real clean Mac Miller flow mixed with a singing chorus. Solid track.

Laugh Now Cry Later by Drake — If this blog is the first time that you heard this song, you live under a rock. Another Drake anthem. He’s definitely talking about molly. No question about it. You also have to check out the music video. The video is definitely paid for by Nike. Marshawn Lynch and Odell Beckham Jr. make appearances.

Levitating (The Blessed Madonna Remix) [feat. Madonna and Missy Elliott] by Dua Lipa — DUA! This is the first song out on her Club Future Nostalgia remix album. Why not bring in Madonna and Missy Elliott for your first single drop. Sounds like classic Dua. Another radio banger. Side note — I ordered a Dua Lipa sweatshirt in March and I still don’t have it…

What is still HAWT!

Back to You by Madison Mars — Really unique drop. Steep build. Steady Climax. Funky but Heavy Drop.

Love You Better by Julian Jordan [Guy Arthur Remix] — Martin Garrix played this in his Tomorrowland set. It was basically the only song I could Shazam, the rest were all IDs. It’s different by you’ll like it.

What’s Love Got to Do with it by Kygo & Tina Turner — Another Kygo summer anthem. TropHaus for the win!

Now That We’ve Been In Love by Robotaki — I overuse the term “groovy” but this fits the groovy description for sure. Just has an LA vibe to it (personal opinion).

I Won’t Let You Walk Away (feat. Madison Beer) by Mako — You know that girl Madison Beer from Tik Tok? Ya well, she was a singer first and she’s pretty damn good.

Avenoir by Dezza — This is a great song if you need to get some work done. I would describe it as Adderall for your ears.

Hopefully, we have some new #HausHitters to talk about next week! Enjoy your weekend!
